The prints were made by invitation and reproduce four original drawings by Álvaro Siza, created at different moments in his life. The works can be grouped into two main themes: the horse and religion/mythology. These are not unfamiliar subjects for the architect, who learned to draw horses at a very young age and who, throughout his professional career, frequently engaged in architectural, design, and publication projects that conveyed a spiritual dimension related to religion and the interpretation of mythological stories that have endured into modern times.
